That's it. We need to drop this "you break it you buy it" mentality when it comes to these conflicts. Dead scientists can't build nukes. Dead soldiers can't fire rockets. Dead ayatollahs can't raise multicolored flags.

Is it not our responsibility to "spread democracy." Our responsibility is to defend our own. Whether the Iranians choose to become democratic or not should be immaterial to us.
