Through their stomachs. I shot woodchuck for fun (they make holes that damage equipment and formerly livestock) and they came around near evening. As I sat outside I'd let them come to my deck. Then I'd just sit around them. It's taken a good 2 years to get to the point I can touch or play with all of them. The oldest vixen befriended me first and has always seemed to be the breadwinner. They eventually had two kits that played under my deck but now they are grown and have befriended me the most.
