Rostec has begun supplying new TKB-1055 anti-drone missiles for the Pantsir air defense system.

The new version moves away from ineffective gun armament and is equipped with new surface-to-air missiles designated TKB-1055. These missiles have a launch range of up to 7,000 meters and an altitude engagement envelope of 15 to 5,000 meters.

They are specifically designed to counter UAVs. While earlier versions of the Pantsir carried 12 standard missiles, the updated system can hold up to 48 anti-drone missiles. Additionally, it allows for a mix of different missile types tailored for specific tasks.
