Actually one last bit of slander towards GT, the show did not have a single villain that was as good as any of the antagonists from OGDB
GT had Pilaf but that guy was just brought back as a stupid bufoon whose entire reason to exist was to give Toei a perfect excuse to make Goku a kid like he was in OGDB, but OG Pilaf? This dude rivals Bulma at being the smartest earthling in dragon ball and his character arc did not end at him becoming homeless thanks to Goku going waku waku oozaru mode on his castle, dude stuck around to bring back none other than Piccolo daimai-fucking-oh (Or Demon KING Piccolo as murricans know him) and Piccolo needs no further introduction on who he is. Or how the red ribbon army was a much bigger problem than Pilaf, a problem so big they got to linger all the way through DBZ by creating the Androids and Cell.
And that's not to say of various side characters who got to be part of the main gang like Yamcha and Tien (they're jobbers sure, but at least they got to stick around all the way through the Cell saga).

GT never stood a chance at creating villains as cool and monumental as OG DB's, DBZ's villains go unmentioned because i'm already comparing an ant to a mountain, i'd be comparing a cockroach to Planet Jupiter if i dare mention Raditz being much, much better than 100% of what GT has
