It's mainly your parietal lobe responsible for proprioception (bodily awareness) and awareness of objects in relation to the self, that is responsible for lonliness. Aa well as the thalamus which is responsible for immediate interpretation of stimuli, that contributes to the feeling and the hypothalamus that gives the command to spread it to other parts of your body through the nervous system. Not the entire brain structure really but other parts contribute in small ways. Change companionship to recognizing parts of yourself in others, or stimulation, which doesn't have to be through a human or even another living thing mind you. Other than that I agree.
