here is my tl;dr interpretation of an immense amount of history, and yes it will likely trigger many pagans, muslims and especially jews:

in the beginning there was the Creator, who made this place idyllic for humanity to thrive in. food grows out of the floor infinitely, water falls from heaven infinitely, everything is provided for us. if you dont want to eat food from the floor, all the animals are hard-wired to constantly want to fuck and reproduce, and mankind was given dominion over this realm designed for humans. the Creator also sent down angels to help act as spiritual guides, what this would look like in my opinion would be a human being that is likely eternal. after all, on the 2nd page of the bible it talks about how the angels rebelled against the Creator's wishes, and did what they were forbidden to do: have sex with human women. they took them as wives and had children, but this was NOT intended. the result was a new hybrid species called the nephilim. in the bible, ti says these were giants and "men of great renown". they were villainous and evil, as they did not have souls. us human beings have souls and we know right from wrong, because the soul is eternal, and only temporarily housed within the flesh on earth for 80 years or so. the nephilim do NOT have souls, as they did NOT incarnate from heaven. they are essentially hostile NPCs here on earth, and they began corrupting all flesh. the book of Enoch tells us that the angels spread forbidden knowledge to humanity such as how to make weaponry, how to do make-up (interesting to think about), how to do root-cutting, how to do abortions, etc
