Yes and no, value is of course subjective, which is why I’m not telling you that the only way to be useful is to work at mcdonalds. But being able to produce value is also a function of how much you’re able to rely on yourself instead of others, how much you’re able to contribute to your own ambitions, how much capacity you have to take care of the people you love, ect. It is massive for purpose in life.
The person saying “I’d rather be a woman… because fuck the rat race!” is someone who obviously has no desire to produce value and tries to justify being useless and has such a low opinion of girls that he thinks this kind of losership would actually work for a woman. It’s not about how you should worship masculinity, but it’s not doing you any favors to hate it when you haven’t actually become a man yet.
