I get your point but the zombie branch was so retarded. Actually one of the worst routes in this game, it was offensive. Zombie and KG had good Hiruko moments but horrible everything else it's actually impressive, was Uchikoshi overlooking their writing and told them to put those moments in for S.F.?
Hiruko is a morally gray and intriguing character. She definitely genuinely cares for Takumi so, so, so much that she will give up her and everyone else's lives just for him. It's a completely unhealthy obsession and that manifests in occasionally not being the nicest to Takumi himself despite how much she adores him.
She's the kind of character to hold him closely, play with his hair, kiss his forhead and say she loves him while also tying him up in shibari and pouring hot wax on him just to see his adorable crying and anguished face. In other words: kino multi layered best girl.
