I think Iran started using some kind of counter-electronics in their missiles to make ironic doom rockets boomerang back on the launcher. I also believe this went badly in the Golan heights when a boomeranged interceptor gutted a schoolyard full of Bedouin children (picrel). The boomerang-thing seemed to stop for a while.
