Remember when HSR had good character designs? What happened for the past year?

I'm in a similar boat but I filled the HSR void with games like Girls Frontline 2 and Wuwa. I don't know if I want to come back. Might uninstall Wuwa because I hate the echo system and open world stuff is kinda boring.
