A soldier in Ukraine's Sumy region has reportedly taken the concept of going AWOL to a new level, stealing an armored vehicle to drive home.
Investigators from the State Bureau of Investigation (DBR) apparently recovered the BRDM-2 armored patrol car, complete with anti-drone caging, which the serviceman had commandeered for a trip to his native Poltava region.
As the original commentary on the incident dryly noted: "That's one way to go AWOL. Everyone in the village must have been fucking shocked."
