She hit the nail on the head. Nick is arbitrarily ultra-belligerent and doesn't know who to attack.

Ukraine broke multiple ceasefire attempts and Russia gave up. They're poised to take the entire place now anyway. Increasingly, we need to understand:
1. The war in the East is now lost, and effectively requires much more resources than the region is worth to turn around. Our only way to defend Ukrainian independence is to supply them with both manpower and materiel for war now; rather than supplying US citizens, it would be good to supply illegal aliens for this if it's our chosen path.
2. Zelensky's "peace proposals" are ridiculously maximalistic and will never succeed. Even when Russia offers small concessions as gestures of goodwill, he chooses to pick-and-choose which ones he accepts and refuses; for example, Zelensky has now declared no new transfers of dead soldiers will be accepted, and only living POWs will be accepted, and he has also demanded that Russia keep the dead bodies of Ukrainian soldiers unburied until their eventual return.
3. Zelensky has now repeatedly betrayed its agreements with Russia and it stands to reason that he will betray his agreements with us as well even if he survives the war. His predecessors as President had also betrayed many agreements, including with Russia, which is part of what caused the war when the Ukraine declared that it would not repay any debts owed to the Russian Federation.
4. Our only reasons to refrain from making a comparable replacement deal with Russia, to replace our existing "mineral deal," are that Russia has more leverage against us and is even more capable of refusing to enforce a deal than the Ukrainian regime. Zelensky has gone far enough with his trifle and betrayal that nobody should care if the Ukrainian state is completely extinguished. However, they most certainly will refuse to make a comparable deal at all if we lose the war on the battlefield.
