Kind of ridiculous $300 is felony. "Grand theft" became a big thing long enough ago, it's like $25,000 today. This shit only serves to empower the state (more police/prisons) and take away power (vote, guns) from a potential victim class of people ("criminals" aka statehood religion heretics and NOT morally evil people). Criminal records are worthless in this age, and in extreme cases like Megans Law I am very saddened by the complete lack of attempts at police high scores, frankly a much more manly and laudible target than a Walmart, school, or sports stadium!
