That's a whole separate issue caused mostly by content creators and streamers spouting "oh, come raid on Aether! that's where all the content is!" for years upon years. Balmung and Mateus being locked down is a side-effect from that. I've been one of the many few Primal fags trying to keep content contained on Primal, but losing it.

Maplestory and Mabinogi. If you didn't get with the program of those games and tried to improve, you were definitely left behind. They might not be HOT hits compared to Final Fantasy XIV, but they're still well alive and kicking to these days.
