am I picking the wrong boost? I can usually hit 40k+ easily on deadly assault while not really optimizing my DPS, but I'm just scraping by with 25k-30k on these

HP bloat? skill issue? the boosts seem like they're mostly kinda bad, at least compared to some of the previous ones
