That's how the entire industry works numbnuts. The ENTIRE manga industry, not just H. Artist draws something -> publisher offers the author upfront pay and a larger audience and in exchange the publisher gets exclusive distribution rights and a chunk of the royalties. Foreign publishers make the exact same offer, because why on earth would an author take an objectively terrible deal like the one you're convinced is happening?
Furthermore, what the absolute fuck are you basing your conclusion on? Where's the evidence that authors are PAYING Fakku or whoever else jack shit? All we have to go off is a publisher taking shit down, which happens in japan too and we KNOW the publishers over there aren't getting paid to do it. Whatever brain cancer you have is making you live in fucking upside down world where facts are false and everyone but you is a shill. I'd laugh if it wasn't so sad.

Distribution rights are regional. Why do you obsess over something you know literally nothing about? And most of the artists under these foreign publishers are not selling their work on stores; their PUBLISHER is. Wani magazine. The author just sends their shit in to the publisher and the publisher handles everything to do with the distribution. Same thing with Fakku. It's the same fucking system. Wani has the local (japanese) market, Fakku/Irodori/J18/whoever has the region they negotiated for (usually the US). It just happens that the asian market buys more porno comics. Which is why their porno comic market booms while overseas markets basically don't exist outside of importing shit from japan.
