Is there any way to make the game render at native resolution without compromises yet?
Last time I played all the transparency was dithered and looked nasty. The dithering used a 4x4 pattern and the only way to remove the visibility of it was downsampling to 25% scale to blend the samples. Basically requiring it to be rendered at 8K to look non-defective on 1080p or still having half artifacts when rendered at 4K.
Pic rel showing native with dithering, then 1/2 scale and 1/4 scale. 1/2 scale still shows artifacts and 1/4 solves it but is obviously low res.
Dithering makes sense but our displays are not high res enough for it to not be visible, I hate the dithering even on 1440p and rendering at 5K or 10K to fix it isn't really an option. Marvel Rivals does dithered shit too but they include blending in the process for transparent objects so transparent things simply become lower res/pixelated, but the dithering pattern is avoided that way. Proper transparency sampling at full res would be ideal (but is expensive performance wise) but the way Rivals handles it is much cleaner looking than NGS and I'm hoping that at least some option like that is available.
