2. they do kill worms now and then but it's difficult, they are huge and swim in sand
3. they don't know that worms produce spice and they don't know that water kills worms, only fremen know (which is kind of silly but whatever)

arrakis isn't the kind of place conducive to a house testing various weapons on sandworms, just because the whole planet is so politically charged. Anyone doing anything is going to have 6 different factions sniffing up their ass to double check what they ate for breakfast and why.

Hagga basin also isn't supposed to have any sandworms. I don't know why it does considering Paul never happened and there should still be a fully intact shield wall. Sandworms were never introduced into the north pole basin.

Speaking of which the compass/map in game is wrong and for whatever reason they have north where south actually is on arrakis.

Also hagga basin is the entire area in that overworld map you can fly in, not just the lone POI you start at.

I will give these guys some credit - they have basically nailed dune's setting and aesthetic themes besides little details like what direction north is (paracompass bullshitting is a copout), but boy did they ever fuck up the actual gameplay loops and PVP side of things
