Christians destroyed art and culture though. In fact the more fundamentalist protestant sects would not allow music or art in the church because it "detracted from the glory of god". They would tear down the pagan statues and monuments wherever they found them.

Christianity was basically a nuke on western culture and replaced it with this middle eastern stuff.
