Wouldn't that be the perfect trigger for at least China to join in the war though? Iran's defeat would obviously bring regime change, and the new regime would block China's land-based Belt & Road that depends entirely on Iran to be connected into Europe, and they need the land connection since the seas will turn dangerous if they ever face US and/or EU
