Why would you prefer to believe this? Holistically, shareholder's ROI proportion is always significantly better than that of a worker's. Not talking of just number-crunching but also of physically and psychologically toxic environments with more disproportionate escalation risks.
DYOR effort needed to reach certainty is the same. Possibility of unforeseen circumstances devouring even your safety network is the same, if not actually less favorable for a worker.
If equal commensuration proportion became real overnight, shareholders would basically either become retail workers or Middle East ZOGbots.
