The scenario Gravship- pic related- is probably what you can make without gravcores. Couple that with all the fucking research required to get even a starter ship, your colonists will almost certainly have really high expectations, meaning the starting ship won't have enough room for them. This makes the Grav Anchor mandatory, since you'll basically be using it to poke around the lithosphere to find enough grav cores to finally expand it to the size required. I guarantee that this is going to be another Royalty fiasco where Tynan has to walk back a lot of the more annoying mechanics to make it playable.
