I kinda expect a discontinued headset and niche use case not to be a priority. The real shock is how buggy and lacking polish it is for standalone.
Browsing the store and managing standalone games can be a miserable experience. There's still no store tag system and categories only shows an arbitrary number on any page. Even during a sale it can be hard to even find certain discounted games without searching their exact name.
You also can't manage downloads in any way, Twice I've had it suddenly close and update virtual desktop while I was in the middle of using it to play PCVR games. When a game/app does want to update there's no check on storage space first, which is dumb because a big game like Batman or Asgard's Wrath can nearly double the space required when it has to download then extract the files before patching. Running out of space doesn't even result in an error message, it just stalls until you discover the problem.
