So in this block, we’ve got the TJPW singles champion and the MLW women’s champion—that’s two champions in one block. Plus, I’m also holding the tag titles. While I’m still holding my singles belt, I’ve been wanting to have a match with Mizuki, who also has a singles belt. It’d be great if we met in this block, but since I’m fully planning on winning the whole tournament, I think it’d be fun to face her later on too. But first, my opening match is against Rika. So I’m going to become a 'Drama-ta Kaijū', one that stomps right over dragons! Let’s go!"
>Rika: "Recently, I realized that summer is actually my favorite season out of all four. There’s just so much to look forward to—summer festivals, Summer Princess, and of course, this tournament. But now, suddenly, this bracket I’m in is way too steep and rough. Also, there’s this weirdo named Miyu Yamashita who’s set her sights on me, so I’m starting to feel like I might end up hating summer after all. My first-round match is against Shoko, who I have a bit of a complicated history with. At the end of last year, we had a singles match that was decided by fan lottery, and it ended in a draw. I’ve been feeling unsettled and frustrated ever since. So I want to settle things once and for all this time. Of course, I’m aiming for victory and to reach the top for the very first time. On the other side of the bracket is my beloved Mizupyon. I want to face her in a singles match once I reach the top—as the champion. But for now, I’m also really hoping to have a singles match with Yuki. We haven’t really had one at all. So I’m secretly cheering for Yuki to make it through. I want her to do her best."
