Kirakira Precure A La Review 42!
It was an Aoi episode and I was happy. Obviously top 10, Aoi too good. In all seriousness, this handles the philosophy/moral really well and all because Ichika is a big dumb-dumb.
Summary for the anons that need it: Everyone is rocking out with Aoi's band while Misaki watches from a distance. After the performance the girls and Aoi's band are relaxing when their bassist drops the bomb: he's quitting before the big battle of the bands against Misaki. Aoi and Misaki have a long conversation and ultimately Misaki tells her to fuck off and perform or quit; don't let the battle of the bands be some send off. Ellsio is watching. The next day the girls watch Aoi go through her depressive arc, failing to do anything at school. Frustrated Ichika comes up with a plan and the girls get to work. On Aoi's way home Yukari and Akira kidnaps Aoi and drags her to someplace special. The special place, KiraPati, leaves Aoi quite miffed until Ichika reveals its time for a sleep over! Aoi almost rejects it when her buttler appears to inform her its all been approved and he's packed all her overnight bags. Aoi gives in and the party begins with everyone showing off all their jammies; Aoi in the most expensive looking robe. Before she can get too mad about the mocking the pillows fly from everyone, but Himari, and Aoi rips off her robe to reveal sweats and takes charge dominating the other girls. After the war, the girls relax with some ice cream, making a variety of ice cream lions. This spurs a conversation on what one does when something is gone forever; specifically a dessert. When it falls on Ichika she misunderstand the premise, and puts her foot down saying if she has the ingrediants she'd just remake the dessert. It annoys Aoi initially, but she realizes her band is the ingrediants and their bassist isn't the only song writer; she's writen before. Aoi stays up the rest of the night writing.
