Those passages were originally notes, added by Monks who were just supposed to Copy the Bible.

The notes then got written in to the main text by subsequent Monks.

They were NOT from the original authors!

They don't belong. Not in the main text, maybe in the notes like the NIV has them (at the bottom of the page ).
