Basically Trump and Republican polling is tanking (and no it's not just the Jeffrey Epstein, even though yes that was a hit since as much as /ptg/ copes it's way more popular MAGA topic point than they want to admit), people aren't too hot on Trump right now and the Republicans especially have been shit for weeks, candidates up for midterm election are looking like shit, to the point where it's practically guaranteed the Republicans will lose the House. And as Mark says, once you lose political capital it's very difficult to regain it.
