I don't understand how some people can have such an emotional connection with Babymetal and their music. They rarely interact directly with their fans and they don't even write any of the music or the lyrics themselves. Yeah the music is good and catchy and fun but there's no honesty or authenticity to it. Su, Moa, and Momoko just dance choreography that's made by someone else. They sing lyrics and songs/melodies that are written by someone outside of the band. They're basically just talented singing and dancing puppets for both Amuse and the real songwriters/producers who actually created the music. With so much great music being made by real bands and musicians in Japan, it's mind boggling why someone would deliberately choose to listen to Jpop instead.
