The comic gives me romcom vibes, and all comedy's have a straight-man who reacts normal or mildly annoyed to the shenanigans of the other cast who are usually caricatures, or with more zany and exaggerated personalities.
The clone being a clone has several tropes to pull from. And one among many is the genius trope. You know, because they've grown up around science.

So the clone fits as the straight man in comedy scenarios, and the genius/computer guy for other scenarios.

Doubly so because of the ecchi nature of the comic at times, the clone could be played for comedy by being totally uninterested in physical love whatsoever, compared to Aura who's a nympho and Hannah who probably fantasizes every night to vent steam
