According to my Discord stats I sent 1,022,015 DMs over the past 8 years, averaging by my estimates around 349 DMs per day on that platform alone.

Across Sykpe and Omegle and Kik and WhatsApp and Snapchat and Tumblr and Reddit and Chatzy and Instagram and Telegram and Amino and maybe two dozen other apps and websites, I'm probably doubling that number so I'm messaging at least 800 people per day. I spend usually at minimum 20 hours a day direct messaging anyone I can find in the hopes of having someone to talk to but out of all of the people I've messaged over the years every single one has blocked me and not a single person I've spoken too is still talking to me.

I'm doing the math for the first time and besides a period of a few weeks in 2022 when I was hospitalized I've kept those numbers consistent since 2014 so in total I've probably messaged at least 3 and a half million people. Of course the vast majority of them don't respond to my DM or just instantly block me so counting the times it leads to an actual conversation its probably around 25,000 people minimum I've spoken to in total and that's led to 0 actual friendships.
