It’s worth challenging some of the assumptions, too. First, white taxpayers vs. niggers/brown immigrants or poor whites frames things as zero-sum when the real siphon of wealth in America is upward: billionaires, megacorps, and the FIRE sector (finance, insurance, real estate). The Nordic model works because it taxes capital and labor fairly, limits rent-seeking, and gives everyone tangible returns: education, healthcare, child support, pensions.

Second, if you actually asked younger Americans — especially those who’ve been crushed by debt, rent, and stagnation — you’d probably find surprising support for Nordic-style systems.

So yes, cultural cohesion and shared identity matter hugely. But so does rebuilding class solidarity across lines that have been deliberately inflamed. If America can’t get to the Nordic model through ethnic homogeneity, maybe it can get there through a new social contract rooted in dignity, reciprocity, and national renewal.

It’s a long shot. But no more impossible than what we built after war and poverty.
