Sadly not the direct ones, but my oldest ancestors would've arrived from Spain, judging by my skin color. No german blood, nor italian blood that I know of, tragically.
And even so, not all scientific tests must involve torturing, some can be done to study what heals or improves a certain condition. Or what happens under certain scenarios, like a rat experiment where the rats decided to not drink from a vase with drugs if they were entertained and socialized enough.
Not all science must be cruel and tortuous.

I was never much a fan of TV, I feel more comfortable in watching things from the privacy of my pc or phone.
