BUT THAT ASIDE
I have found out something by playing as the vagina character.
That is, the simple fact (but actually arcane knowledge), that both sides are complete and utter wish fulfillment. It is not in fact, just the men who can be cast and labeled as "wannabe wish fulfilling nerds", but the women as well. See, the key here, isn't men being men and women taking the lead, but that man or woman, the other takes charge, leaving the player character to fill in the gaps where the player isn't bold enough to reach. THAT is wish fulfillment. It's not fantasy fulfillment, it's not gratuity in desire. Wish fulfillment as a concept is the bridge between the cans and the cannots where the cannots want to be someone who can so easily speak their minds and have the world not brutally rape them in the ass for the simple crime of wanting anything nice in life. This is wish fulfillment at it's core. A substitute, not for a debaucherous desire, but for the infathomable gap between what's considered normal, what we want as a person, and what is feasibly attainable.
I realized this by marrying Ikaruga of all people for the cheevos. He is me, and I am him (and Fubuki), but he would never say such things that I desire. And from here on out is rambling I'd spare you,
