I thought about why I didn't care for Deltarune despite liking Undertale alright enough (although not as much as some people who made it out to be the second coming of Jesus). I think I figured out a good analogy. Deltarune is like Stephen King's Dark Tower book series. Stephen King is a good writer when he focuses on a more compact story that's a one and done type deal. But the Dark Tower is obviously just all the shit Stephen King thought was cool thrown into a book series that ended up having an absolutely terrible ending and I think that'll be Deltarune's legacy too.
