Pyrite is pretty useful
You can pretty easily use it to cast a spell to make counterfeit gold pieces
Any real merchant worth his salt will be able to spot it immediately, but retarded fucking goblins can't tell them apart at all
Most goblins are hostile, but once in a while you'll come across one that wants to trade instead. You may think I'm a bad person for swindling goblins with pyrite, but I garuntee all of "their" merchandise was looted from travelers they killed when they were in a stronger position.
