Oh there's not much to it
I prefer to start with Toxikon because 1) Pneuma is legitimately useful sometimes, like it's very nice to have it at the start of M5S and 2) you can almost always max out your Toxikon for free and thus get the one you use back by EDiaging the MT prepull or really just putting one on everyone that'll always get popped by the initial raidwide. It also lets you weave your pot into the GCD after Toxikon.
Addersting is purely a movement tool in single-target, it's a DPS gain on Dyskrasia for aoe but this MAYBE helps in M6S and is purely parse opti otherwise.
The reason you Dosis for 2-3 GCDs is to make sure both your Phlegmas and your Psyche fit in buff window to catch shit like Brotherhood
You get one "free" Phlegma for every two ones you save for burst, Phlegma is also a movement tool but you have to use that one in that window to avoid overcap. Not overcapping Phlegma and not drifting Psyche are your main "skill expression" outside of generally keeping uptime
It's a pretty easy job overall but feels really good to play, also sorry for the fucking glacial reply this lead does not take breaks
