From an biological natural selection perspective it makes perfect sense why they like men that other women like. I mean think about it; As a woman, or as a gene in a woman you're kind of screwed. There's no way to spread far and wide quickly. If you're an individual gene inside a woman. The MAXIMUM you're ever going to spread is like once per 9 months. That's it. That's ultimate success. That's the cap.
However if you're a gene in a man. You have a lottery ticket. Sure you might get nothing. But if your body is 'chad'.. then you're on the 'super-highway' of gene spreading. You could spread to hundreds maybe even thousands of people in just a few short generations. As an individual gene you are FAR FAR better off being inside a man, than a woman.
So what's a lady to do then?
Well... she wants to get her genes to be passed down to a son. but not just ANY son. She wants her genes to be passed down to a Son.. That is good at attracting many many women. Her genes want to get on the 'super highway'. Best way to do that?
Find a man, who is attractive to other women. That's why it happens. As a gene in a woman, this is your ace-card. This is your ultimate ability. Your goal. Nothing else matters in terms of spreading. You want to find a 'nice' man, take care of you? Good. But your kids likely won't be super-spreaders, and so your genes (the one's that 'prefer' 'nice' men... will get outcompeted)...
But the lady who's genes prefer men.. who other women like. She will have a son, by that man... and her son.. will be liked by other women just like his father was. The end result? Her genes get spread far wider than she herself could ever hope for.
