Did you miss the Yanagi chapter?
The only valid complaint about 1.4 is how they obviously quickened the pace and cut out a chapter where we slowly investigated Bringer and tied it back with that.
Devs realized they needed to hurry things up because the game was in a bad spot and so cut out the investigation that lead to the already obvious conclusion that Bringer/Sarah were behind everything.
Some things obviously got cut and summarized (that was the little tape recording bit), but it's a no-brainer as to why.

Do you faggots just never read any producer, product manager, or other behind-the-scenes commentary? I'm not even talking about ZZZ devs. I'm talking about in general.
I'm sure the game would be doing amazing if they just took the genius advice of continuing to squeeze the slice-of-life prelude of the story to this day.
