The thing that attracts retards like myself to support isn't whether or not it is "easy". The thing is, supports don't really have to directly outplay the opponent. You can get value by pressing buttons on your allies semi competently.
I'm scared of DPS because if I am not actively better than my opponent, I am complete dead weight.
That said it must be understood that healer is a brainless retard role and people can still be shit at it. I try not to be though.
