I like the idea of Elijah surviving, regardless of if you lock him in the vault, cut off his head, legs and arms, cannibalize him or etc. A testament to his 9 INT that he can survive the Courier's darkest wrath no matter any circumstance and I like the idea of Father Elijah nuking California and Arizona unless the player takes steps to stop him. based suggestion, and I'd add that Father Elijah is the only unkillable NPC in the game. No matter how many times you slaughter him, he keeps coming back seeking revenge. And leveling up once with each "resurrection" in Wild Wasteland mode too for an infinite increasing challenge. Oh you have 305 confirmed kills on you nemesis and wish he could just rest in peace finally? too bad, he's back for more
