“Alright, you asked for it!” the Kai shouts, pitching the fruit at Basil.
“Like hell.” you mutter, focusing your ki into your eyes and fire your Eye Beams. Streaking through the air, your attack connects with the fruit a few feet from Basil, obliterating it as if it never were.
“Wha-?! You-!! Insolent, interfering, worthless mortal!” the Kai shrieks at you, eyes wide with fury. “You DARE?!”
“Hey, if you're going to interfere in their match, then I can too.” you reply, crossing your arms. But right as the other deity is about to shout, the Grand Priest flies down on his platform, giving menacing side-eye to you, and no doubt the Kai as well. The temperature feels as if it suddenly hits absolute zero, the Grand Priest turning fully to you.
“You dare interfere?” he asks simply, tone packed with menace. You feel like an ant staring down an approaching meteor, if he decides you're a problem to be handled, in this moment you realize there's not a damn thing you can do to stop him. So, you tell the truth.
“I stopped them from interfering in the fight. This fight is between Basil and the Ginyu Force.” you reply simply, meeting the Grand Priest's gaze. “If it wasn't my place to stop them from breaking the rules, then so be it. But I didn't get this far by standing by and watching others cheat.”
Silence. Dead silence, everyone too afraid to move, to breathe hangs in the air, as you and the Grand Priest stare one another down. But after several moments of silence he suddenly backs off, giving you a small bow of his head.
“You were only trying to uphold the sanctity of the Zen Expo. So there shall be no punishment.” he says, a collective sigh echoing out around the room as the Grand Priest turns back to Zen-Oh. “What do you say, sire? Should the Ninth Universe be allowed to use the power up Roh tried to give his fighter?”
“Hmmmm. I want to see what it can do.” Zen-Oh finally says, Grand Priest bowing deep to him before turning and addressing both your universes.
“Grand Zen-Oh has declared the Ninth's fruit of Danger Doping legal for this tournament.” he says, the other Kai, Roh apparently, making some sort of rude gesture towards you all that makes Beerus growl behind you.
“Take that, Seventh!” he shouts smugly, before drawing our another of the fruits, pulling his arm back to throw it. “Now, Basil! Show Grand Zen-Oh how much stronger you are than these Seventh Universe fools!”
And with a perfectly-aimed toss throws it straight into Basil's mouth without so much as an arc, the wolfman swallowing the fruit.
