Think about it this way: the women who larp as Sami are at best 10% Sami and 90% Scandinavian. By pushing the Sami identity, they are actually betraying their own ancestry by claiming a culture that has little to do with them. If it weren’t such a meme ethnicity, it would be based of them, but at this point it is just a show garment used for publicity.
