I just finished The Bell Jar, which I hadn’t read for ten years. I loved it when I first read it, but found it much more powerful this time around. Almost like a completely different book. It’s funny how books can change… a reminder how dependent they are on the reader. (And I’m sorry that I’m smiling in the first picture - it feels kind of ridiculous given what The Bell Jar is about).
