I admit that the beginning of DT17 was good and it was in its own way, but I was turned off by the fact that they focused too much on children who weren't even children, and when they relied too much on nostalgic references from Disney Afternoon while changing it beyond recognition. In addition, the humor in that series was bad. There's more, but I simply saw that that series wasn't for me, and the only good thing is that it attracted me to the nostalgia of old cartoons (classic shorts, OG Ducktales, Darkwing Duck, Quack Pack, Disney Afternoon) and I respect comics even more than before.
Yes, the art style itself is somehow too simply cheap, (so to speak), like pure digital fanart (I've seen better drawings related to DT17 than that series itself), and the styles are too angular. They have no charm. Although their backgrounds are good, as is the animation, but nowhere near as good as during the 1990s. European comics (Egmont and Panini) have much better quality and charm because the authors respect those materials better. But as you said before, that series doesn't appeal to me that much either.
