I went and read the chapters these screenshots are adapting and it's kinda funny that we've lost both the original setup for the brother's appearance (the furball scene adapted in this episode) and the setup for a joke about how the dog takes his walks. because in the anime the dog actually just takes walks around normally or otherwise he gets manhandled by Fuji, whereas in the manga he's carried everywhere in Fuji's handbag.
