If we go by Vexi factors old flags are clearly better. Even modern stands out by having orange.
Yet soviet flag just makes my brain tickle. Possibly due to shade and placement of blue. I don't know why it just makes my brain tickle. For simmilar reasons I really like Soviet kyrgiz flag. Granted Estonian was objectively the best. While georgian stand out by beeing an outlier.
