>Kirk: Gets trapped in a pocket dimension for years, gets out, dies immediately. Buried on a deserted planet in an unmarked grave, only Picard knows where he's buried.
>Spock: Ends up in an alternate dimension/ timeline where the entire planet of Vulcan is destroyed. Dies effectively alone in a strange universe.
>Scotty: Spends 80 years trapped in a transporter holding signal, gets out only to find he's completely obsolete and the world he knew is long gone. Flies off into the unknown alone, probably dies soon after.
>Bones: Actually does okay, becomes an admiral and lives to a ripe old age, seemingly dies peacefully of natural causes
>Everyone else: Who cares.
