Her behavior is eerily similar to Denji's though, there are multiple instances of them acting in the exact same way which stands out when compared to any other character.
You could even make a parallel between what Death said to Fumiko and Yoshida, and what Denji said in the Aging World about grub and girls.

I actually think she's going to be the character who understands Denji's mindset the most.
There's also the fact that Death barely interacted with Denji while pretending to be Famine, but now is alone speaking directly to him, and the very first thing she did was introduce herself as Death, which is the opposite of how her interactions with Asa went.
