I'd say this is the main problem, yes.
Street Fighter characters just don't translate well into semi-realistic models. Whoever at Capcom pitched that idea and whoever approved it are fucking stupid.
Incidentally, Ingrid is by far the most anime character ever put in a Street Fighter game and now she is getting added to 6 as well. I am curious about how that one is going to end up.
