The reason they're acting like a dog with a bone over Epstein is because it is quite literally the only semi-legitimate (in the sense that he is optically fumbling HARD in how he's handling the PR surrounding the issue) hump the current admin is struggling with. If they can't turn it into a wedge issue, mid terms are literally ogre for them.
